  • How are we going to get real music back? There needs to be a national movement! Fuck rap! It sucks and has no soul or talent to create!

  • @TheJcreg

I'm in my early 50's and thus too young to be part of this magical time in music, but no matter what i listen to (and I'm very open to all kinds of music) I keep coming to the 60's.

Like I say to many people, I'm too young to be a hippie (though this is pre-hippie) I love the ERA.

How do you think New Wave changed things?

  • I'm 65 and came up through all of this misic. There's no way to relate just how much the influx of the New Wave changed things. The Hollies were just as important as any other group in shaping my memories as the Beatles. They, the Hollies were HUGE!!! God bless 'um all...

  • Love This Song!

  • i was there too. i was a teenager in the sixties. the music was our whole life, and we sang and danced the days away to all these british groups.

  • wat a group the hollies were & wat a era the sixtes was. i was lucky enuf 2 b there.

  • @ robbsnyder--the "bass" player in this video is Eric Haydock, not Bernie Calvert--he joined less than a year later.

  • I'm here drinking my wine and listening to these fantabulous groups! I never went to any concerts but I am a product of the sixtties...i went to 'nam, came back and I'm here. Thank you!
