  • I have rarely seen something so amazing, look so effortless.....

  • @Anestice Is this from Austin City Limits? Do you know the date of this performance, or the year, at the very least? And do you happen to have any other songs from the same performance? Would LOVE to hear 'Shotgun Down The Avalanche' if you have it. Whatever the case, thanks for posting this.

  • Back in '89 my boyfriend worked for a micro record promotion company here in town, and he had tickets to her show at a small club. We were so into each other, we decided at the last minute to blow off the show and "find salvation" with each other all night. I would have loved to see the show, but it seemed like the best idea at the time. ;o)

  • Positively beautiful. One of my favorite's by Shawn and her performance here is excellent. Not so crazy about what she's wearing though... :P

  • She is so sweet and amazing... even in that sorta of white night-suite she is dressed with

  • This was right after the album came out, so '89 or '90. This was the first taping of the Austin City Limits season and some of the staff was wondering how one vocal mic and one guitar would carry a show for 28 minutes. Boy were we wrong, she blew everyone away and it was one of the best recordings in the 30+ years of the show. Obviously strong material, her voice was (is) amazing and beautiful, different guitar playing. "May we all find salvation in professions that heal." Sing it Shawn!

  • As burgor57 noted, one of THE very best performances from one of the best out there. I cherish this early ACL taping -- it's a gem....every number. Even her singing "Roadrunner" with her sister Kay. ;-)

  • This isn't mine, but it was filmed at Austin City Limits in Austin TX (not the music festival, but the live show that was a regular here for years). This is off her 1989 Steady On album, so it must have made the show soon thereafter.

  • whoever uploaded this video? Please can you let me know where you got this version and can I download? please can you send this to me?
