@MooseOfReason The Nazis burnt books by Jewish intellectuals (such as Karl Marx, Leon Trotsky, Albert Einstein & Sigmund Freud to name a few) but also books by gentiles whose works were considered to be "anti-Nazi" or contridicted their ideas or philiosphies. For instance works by American writers such as Jack London & Ernest Hemingway were also publicly burnt. Books by the English author H.G. Wells were also put to the flames.
