Mindblowing. A storm. Unmatchable. A planet on his own. Mr. Newbury is an emperor of the word, an inhabitant of mood,genre and feeling, a tormented king. A bulldozer of gut and wrenched emotion. With all of that he was a solid platform for many US artists in both rock and country music. His music is universal, his significance existential, beauty for eternity. I hope he's having a ball somewhere.To his graceful family: much warmth. Buy the albums at their website. A grateful Belgian filmmaker.
