Arcsoft Total Media Theatre playing Transformers 2 trailer at 720P. With the BROADCOM BCM70012 video decoder, CPU utilisation is 15-25%.
Samsung NC10 playing on 24" monitor (1920x1080).

  • Yeah, but try running a game on that thing and it will slow to a crawl. That's the problem with the Broadcom solution, It's a one trick pony and only accelerates video.

  • 10.1 Beta is out. HD not so good, but SD much better. It will work better with card, but should make some improvement without.

  • when flash is updated, will I be able to smoothly play YouTube videos in HD? also, will I need the Broadcom card or not?
