Good cover by Dolly of a Shorty Medlocke and the Florida Plowboys song, made famous by Shorty Medlocke's grandson Ricky Medlocke and his band Blackfoot

The playing in bluegrass is as exciting, spontaneous and thrilling as that on the rockin'ist rock and roll recordings. I think that's why, during her bluegrass years (1999 - 2003), Dolly was able to cover rock classics "Stairway to Heaven" and "Shine" so successfully.

Thank you for posting it ! It is note to note how this band play it in the Dolly's CD 'The Grass is Blue' and it is normal : you must be perfectly adjusted when you are 10 or so people picking and singing together. Jim Mills on banjo and Stuart Duncan on fiddle feel so easy ! The guitar player is Bryan Sutton and even if this tune does not show it he is a great musician too.

So wonderful, thank you!
