Sandra Fluke is a Lawyer. She passed the California Bar Exam. She served as president of the Georgetown Law Students for Reproductive Justice. She is eminently qualified to speak before Congress. She gave scores of speeches last year. But you focused on ONE she gave before 12 people. What about the speech she gave before MILLIONS at the DNC Convention? You glossed over that. And suddenly she is the "least qualified" and "least interesting person that you have EVER seen"? As you say, "Nonsense"!

I didn't say corporations are "awesome" anymore than I said government is "evil". They're artificial constructs and are no more good or evil than any tool. What makes them so are the *people* associated with them ... still government has greater authority than both corporations and unions (another construct). Maybe for a New Year's resolution you could resolve to treat others w/ a modicum of respect and not to act like a prime example of the "Greater Internet Fuckwad Theory" (Google it). TTYN!

When those in government decide to switch favor to corporations over unions again, I'll still be consistent and say that they shouldn't be favoring businesses (e.g. with big bank bailouts) any more than they should be favoring big unions (e.g. restructuring bankruptcy law so UAW members are paid ahead of GM's creditors that should have come first in any debt-consolidation bankruptcy). At least *my* view is consistent. Yours assumes malice in business power but never malice in union power.
