This is Part 1 of 2 of Dangerous Game from Jekyll and Hyde performed by Alisha Patterson and Kevin Hull on March 1st 2006 at Scene Night. I was flinching in certain parts of this performance.
WOW! very nice. i think the girl could have added a bit more passion though. do you guys understand the song? its a passionate love scene between lucy and hyde and their love/hate relationship is sort of put into melody. the boy sounded too angry. hes supposed to sound sinister and powerful not to mention sexy in some how
Really good - acting and singing both. I love how you were able to interact and capture the relationship between Lucy and Hyde. I especially love that earlier part where Hyde is about to kiss Lucy and then throws her to the ground.
Only things to complain about are the bits of yelling, uncertain movements, character development (Lucy), and unvariated choreography (maybe you could have done some dancing?).
I really liked Hyde's voice and movements. :) Just awesome.
The girl has a lovely voice, but she's not a very good actress. Work on body movements.
Also, don't try to fix your hair when acting. It makes it look like you're more concerned about your looks than actually acting in the scene. Like when Hyde threw you, you fixed your hair. Letting your hair hang and slwoly lifting your head would have added to the affect of how hard he "pushed" you.
the girl was really good at singing. But sometimes she changes her inflection. Like she sings of being scared adn she's acting care-free. He's a very angery Hyde ;) and he looks likes he's going to EAT her! Other then that, awesome-o! Was this like a talent-show thing?
I like most fo the staging - this seems to be a concert performance, not part of the show... that said, she's very impressive, very strong vocally and yet still portraying the vulnerability
Actually, frostypup, Hyde has an accent if the actor choses to give him one. At most the man was Cockney, which is an accent.
Anyway.. Very well done with the acting. Both of them did wonderfully, though I'd have to agree with the yelling of certain notes. It throws off the song a bit.
Over all, it was good. Very little productions do the violence aspect of their relationship beyond the threat and the death.

I like it but the guy is trying just a little too hard to overcompensate for hydes deep voice
