  • @MelosAntropon When I finished Eight Little Preludes and Fugues, I played BWV 537 :D

  • C'est génial. Merci beaucoup de l'avoir posté.

  • Very much enjoyed, very good

  • This is SO HOT..... thank you.

  • @MelosAntropon

Thanks for that info. Cryin' shame indeed. To me this piece is as mature as the best of Bach's major works. The texture may be slightly thinner than, say, the Weimar compositions, but still superb. Must try to find the music and see what I can do.

  • @MelosAntropon im talking about the pedals bro that takes patience

  • @NPorganist : Y'know why you hadn't heard it before? Because the world famous Bach interpreters largely scorn the "early" works of Bach as "immature" (this one was written about 1704-05). OK, they aren't as mature as his "St. Anne", but they are still *excellent* organ music, and should be heard more frequently than they are!

    It's a cryin' shame . . .

  • @MrFernandoPJR: Well, as Einstein said: "It's all relative"! Not that the work is easy to play - it is not - but it *IS* one of Bach's easier Preludes and Fugues. It's commonly the first one organists learn after they finish the well-known "Eight Little Preludes and Fugues".

  • Don't know if God is planning to have music for the Second Coming but this would be the perfect piece for it. Only slight problem - it would steal the show. Still almost shaking with excitement as this is a new piece to me - and that's after playing Bach for 33 years!! Thanks for this one, Daniel, and I trust you are well. Best wishes - Neil.
