1978 I was a recent Punk arrival to Australia from the UK, 19 with a bleached blonde hairdo with a mercury rinse put through it and in 1979 I was a bassist in a punk band to boot when Gary was on his world tour. I do regret turning down the opportunity of a weekend at a ranch in Victoria to meet Gary. I was going to include a pic here but the site won't let me.

omg! I used to do the same thing! but I was 15! and it was worse for my parents as I also had a drum kit and used to belt out the drum beats to this album with the head phones on! imagine what that must have sounded like to them!! you are in my vision was one of my fav's off the Replicas album but they were all great and unlike anything else I had ever heard. Just saw Gary 2 months ago live in Auckland NZ and crickey he was amazing! Im a fan all over again!
