Careys "accent" is a direct mimic of Alastair Sim's Scrooge - performed in 1951! It's the only Scrooge we watch at Christmas every year - most authentic. I'm afraid ubiquitous Carey will ruin what this movie could have been - sigh.

People keep complaining about the animation, though I don't see anything wrong with it. Maybe the ghost is still a little wonky, but they've got time...
