disney really messed up the morals of the story when they made esmeralda fall in love with the handsome solidure guy. but i thought it was creepy how the preist guy had a thing for her, it was just too creepy because with a head of gray hair he must be like fifty or sixty where she is only like twenty or something.

Frollo had the experiences of raising two children, Jehan and Quasi XDXD from this angle he was great and Esmeralda should have realised thisXDXD whatz more he was also a scientist, a walking encyclopedia in his day:-)

Well, certainly it's not canon but if it's not canon you can't use canon elements to define the Disney versions of the characters, which is all I meant anyway. There are a lot of reasons not to like the Disney version, but if you regard it as an AU with similar plot points then it's not so bad... though I completely empathize with you. :D
