  • I will show how to make a quick kill with a leghold in a future video. I have been trapping for 21 years so I have figured a few things out in that amount of time. While Tom Brown is talking about his spirituality, I will have already had supper on the fire and a hide prepped. If this is the crap I'm going to catch with every video, I'll just stop making them and enjoy my time in the woods.

  • Dont blame you at all man !

  • holy cow, do you have weak springs on that 220? I cant believe he set that with his hands.

  • @woodcrafter76 Some real meat and potato instruction. thanks for your time bro

  • Can you recommend a good trapping snaring book ?

  • Before I say anything else I just want you to know that I'm not trying to be sarcastic or a know-it-all and on a side note a huge fan of the entire Wildernessoutfitters channel. That having been said I have a tip for you personally. When you set your leg-hold traps and begin adjusting the pan for sensitivity you can get a fair degree of drop in pan-height by simply applying a little forward pressure to the dog (helps to level out your pan, particularly with long spring traps). Good video btw :)

  • Hey Critter, got an Idea , Dave mentioned in a video about transplanting herbs to his personal space but I don't think he did any video's beside showing plants and explaining their uses .

  • Great video for the beginner trapper like myself which I am going to start trapping in the 2010-2011 season.
