Hunting Whitetail Bucks Rut to 2nd Rut - Self-Filmed Bow Hunt Nov 5 - Dec 10

November 5 2011 Lake County Illinois 3:00pm Wind SE 9mph. 52 degrees. Mostly Sunny. Barometer 30.16 Falling. Waxing Gibbous 79% of the Moon is Illuminated. Seen a doe, 3 fawns and a 1.5 year old six pointer. The young buck walked under my tree and checked out the deer decoy I have out.

November 7 2011 Lake County Illinois 3:30pm Wind SW 0mph. 57 degrees. Overcast, Barometer 30.19 Falling. Waxing Gibbous 92% of the Moon is Illuminated. 10 - 20% Chance of Precipitation. Rattled with little response. Seen a 10 pointer that I had never seen before later and was able to get his attention with a grunt tube but couldn't bring him in. The grunt did seem to agitate him as I watched him make a scrape before PT the 10 pointer chased him away.

November 16 2011 Lake County Illinois 4:00pm Wind WNW 13-24mph. 34 degrees. Mostly Sunny, Barometer 30.01 Rising. Waning Gibbous 71% of the Moon is Illuminated. The farmer harvested the corn today. Seen a 1.5 year old buck with a double main beam for the 1st time, unfortunately it was only a spike buck.

November 18 2011 Lake County Illinois 4:00pm Wind SSW 23-41mph. 48 degrees. Mostly Sunny, Barometer 29.90 Falling. Waning Gibbous 48% of the Moon is Illuminated. Seen several does and Jr. the 2.5 year old Nine pointer.

December 10 2011 Lake County Illinois 4:00pm Wind WSW 8mph. 26 degrees. Mostly Sunny, Barometer 30.40 Falling. Full Moon 100% of the Moon is Illuminated. The temperature has dropped significantly the last two days, it was 0 degrees in the morning. Did some more in season scouting today around the remaining available food sources. Seen 14 deer in the stubble corn field and walked up on 2 monster bucks ...Captured ONLY on http://www.HawgNSonsTV.Com
