@rhbeadlejr You'd be surprised how small they can make speakers there days...it'd probably be a really tinny speaker without much volume, but I'm sure it;'s possible...

@spazman13579 maybe mobilephone speakers fit, but i dont know

@rhbeadlejr the chinese always find a way

Looks neat, I wouldnt mind building a small z layout, but I just checked and ONE 26" piece of flex track in Z is $13 !! The loco's and rolling stock are EXPENSIVE as well. Also, there's not much in stock right now.

@spazman13579 I don't think so, but I was also thinking about that. If you really have your mind set on sound, I was thinking maybe you could put a 3/8th" speaker (made by Soundtraxx) into a boxcar and just run wires from the loco to the boxcar. Hope this would help.

I could NEVER do Z scale!

@carvel1000 : Yup, definitely Z scale. I saw this layout at the LaCrosse show this year (2011) and talked with the lady. She said that they used to run N scale but now that you can get more and better bits and accessories for Z they switched. I have to say that while I don't remember what's different exactly from this video to what I saw this year... I know that this layout looks even better than what you see in the video.
N scale????

Just wondering... do any Z scale locomotives have space for sound speakers inside of them?
