using the right arm takeaway has improved my swing plane. However I noticed since this is not a one piece take away there are times that my coil l over the rt leg is not as wound up.-with less weight transfer. What do you suggest to keep the coil in this backswing movement Is it just a late weight transfer?

The club moves outward during the release swivel action (release of PA#3) when the intact LAFW is rotated towards the target due to the counterclockwise rotation of the left arm/forearm. The clubshaft shallows out during the early-mid downswing as one slots the entire power package into the slot. It may require an active movement of the right elbow if it doesn't happen automatically during the pelvic shift-rotation movement.

    thank you for the clarification.

If the left arm is on another plane as you suggest what part of the body controls the outward movement of the club. Is this the role of the right arm??

Also in the downswing for the swinger does the right elbow flatten out the club as part of a conscious move or is this result of the normal weight shift to the left side which seems to me to be a small lateral not a rotational shift before the hips rotate.

The left upper arm does not have to lose its connection with the upper chest wall (armpit area) during a swinger's release of PA#4. Remember that the left arm rotates about a different axis than the upper torso, and it mainly moves downwards and forwards, and not outwards away from the body.

congratulations on a wonderful and thoughtful approach to the golf swing. As a 75 yr old swinger I appreciate your awareness of a limited body. I would like to mention a bit of confusion about the swinger's swing

First how does the Ballard's idea of connection fit in.?Your use of the left hand separates the arm from the body while his pulling motion is the pull of the whole left side -shoulder breast ,back and arm to maintain connection and fo provide more centrifugal force.
