I have hp tx2000.....this laptop is suffering with the same problem as tx1000. I tried to take out mother board but i could not. can u plz tell me is there any need to separate the lcd for taking out motherboard? and plz tell me how i can separate lcd because i tried to take out it many times but i could not succeed.

Try my copper shim to lower your gpu temps 15%. Only $5 and comes with thermal paste. Search for tx1000 copper shim on ebay.
