  • @rcaddict72 what do you mean? The 200m enables us to judge who runs the fastest curve going by their splits, Bolt's the only man to have gone sub 10 around the bend in 200m which he did in his 19.30 (9.98) and 19.19 (9.92) and that's why he ran on 3rd, no one else can run a bend like Bolt. Ur right about 2nd and anchor being the longest legs but Bolt's curve is so much faster than everyone else's on team Jamaica that they'd lose time if anyone else ran on 3rd.

  • i wish they had an a super team of 4x100m and let tyson gay on the team with him and everybody else 100% of course

so the team would be like this

    1. yohan blake

    2.tyson gay

    3.usain bolt

    4.asafa powell

that wr would be blown away with those guys there

they should also do the same with the 4x400m

  • Destroyed lmao

  • @csportmaria Gay's splits in Osaka were 10.13 and 9.63 (19.76)

  • @csportmaria I honestly don't know why the 2nd and anchor are suppose to be the longest legs but thats what I've always heard, either way it could change depending on where in the exchange zone u recieve the baton. My main point was Bolt on 3rd was the right choice in Beijing and Berlin but now with Yohan who's a decent curve runner Bolt was able to run anchor in Daegu

  • @khoadog yes.. the #canadian anchor #slayed it

  • @phastman1994 how are the 2nd and 4th legs the longest?.. aren't the acceleration zones are marked from 90 to 110, 190 to 210 and 290 to 310?.. so for the 2nd and 4th legs to be the longest, the coaches and athlete have to set their marks in a way to deliberately ensure those legs are longest.. but nothing about the track makes those legs the longest

  • @phastman1994 i thought Tyson Gay did 9.96 in Osaka on the curve

  • it's not really HD, is it?

  • @khoadog WTF?? You mean lane 7, not 8. Lane 7 Is ASAFA!!!!!

  • @145bobby Can we just replace one jamaican with one more american in there for u.s. pride?

  • @vhickerson ..no, my friend. It's called teamwork. Yes, Bolt is the fastest on the team, but he's also the best curve runner. It's all about dominating each leg of the race. Plus he's not that much faster than Asafa anyway so the team gains more with him on the curve than it would with him on the anchor.
