Sailor - Chris De Burgh 1980

Christopher J. Davison alias Chris de Burgh, was born in Argentina the 15 of October 1948. Chris is the son of British parents. In 1971, Chris moved to London for making a music career there. His first international success happened in 1975 with song 'Turning Round', renamed into 'Flying'In 1984, Chris released his 8th album with 'Man On The Line', including one of his most famous songs 'High On Emotion'. It reached number 1 in ten European countries. "Sailor" released in 1980.
توضیحی کوچک برای دوستی خشمگین! در زمان سربازی، سرگروهبان با حالی داشتیم که بر خلاف دیگران، از موسیقی غربی خوشش می آمد. یه روز از من پرسید که نوار جدید چیزی داری؟ دست توی جیبم کردم و یک نوار کریستی برگ یا به قولی، کریسدی برگ، رو درآوردم و بهش دادم. نگاهی به جلد نوار کرد . اولین بار بود که این خواننده رو میدید. پرسید: این « کریس دبورگ » کجاییه؟؟؟
کریس دبورگ، خواننده ای که در ایران طرفداران بسیار زیادی را دارد، از پدر و مادری انگلیسی در آرژانتین به دنیا آمد.
آهنگ «سیلور» این خواننده، یکی از معروفترین کارهای او در ایران می باشد.
日本であまり知られていないクリス デ ブルグ、はイギリスの有名な歌集です。彼の"Sailor"　は私の気に入りの一つなんです。80年代の私のエネルギーとなった一つの曲です。彼の音楽の雰囲気は別世界のようなものです。

I have written this message in hope that my dear friend Milly may read it. I have been trying to locate her, but sadly I’ve had no joy. I know she is a fan of Chris de Burgh so I live in hope that she reads this message and contacts me. Milly previously lived in Folkestone and worked for my mother. I let the best thing that ever happened to me slip through my fingers, even if too much has happened for a relationship to develop, I would also be happy to have her as a friend. Sam x

I was starting to think that I would never find Milly again, but then out of the blue she appeared on Facebook. We met yesterday, which went really well actually it felt like we had never parted.

I love this song im not going to lie i never heard it until about a year ago. I live in the states and i met someone that lives in Lebanon. I ask him if there was a song for us and he said yes Sailor so of course i look it up and he was so right I love this man. In case you are wondering we still havent met someday i believe we will be together. I pray for that everynight

@bigboi920318 Hey, man. What a story. I do hope you guys get to be together somehow soon. The song is beautiful. Had never heard it before either. Apparently (from the posts down here) this song is/was popular in the middle east (?). Well, all the best to you two. Rest assured someone here in Rio will be also hoping your prayers are heard, for I too know quite well what it is like to be away and in love.
