Would you give your life to Jesus?- an evangelistic clip
The Holy Scriptures or the Holy Bible plainly states that the only way to salvation is through the Lord Jesus Christ alone! John 3:18 states "Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son." Another verse taken from the Holy Scriptures is John 3:36 which says that "He that believes on the Son has everlasting life: and he that believes not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God stays on him." Let us also put in mind that Jesus Christ claims in John 14:6 that He alone is the Way, the Truth and the Life, the only Way! It says "Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
The infallible word of God made salvation crystal clear. We all sinned. Romans 3:10 states ""There is no one righteous, not even one." Romans 3:23 adds "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." It clearly says that we all have sinned. No one is perfect. We all have sinned, and incapable of reaching God! We all have fallen short! The terrible thing is sin has a consequence. Romans 6:23 states "The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." This death pertains to second death, the eternal lake of fire, the Hell. Revelation 21:8 says "But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and sexually immoral, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and sulfur: which is the second death"
Judgment has already been pronounced to men.
Our good works can never be good enough for our salvation. Titus 3:5 says, "Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us." But God loved us so much that He gave His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ to bear our sin and die in our place. Romans 5:8 states, "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." God said my sins and your sins were laid upon Jesus and He died in our place. He became our substitute!
All we have to do is to accept the free gift of salvation from God (Ephesians 2: 8-9) We should admit that we're sinners through repentance, incapable of reaching God on our own, and putting our very faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ alone for our salvation! The Holy Spirit will regenerate us, making us new creations (2 Corinthians 5:17), and we can never be the same again! He alone can save!
