BBC Countdown Mock - Blair Departure

With the depart of British PM Tony Blair steping down this week I thought id make a countdown like the new BBC News 24 countdown, so I did lol... here it is. I made it when I thought what the coverage would be like, and something like this would lead into the hour he offcially leaves. The numbers weren't hard so don't think I spent hours on it cos I didn't! Alot of the footage was taken from YouTube videos but thanks to this user channel where I got most of it from! /user/t4change

@TheDustpile I live in a country in wich we have a center-right government. My country is Romania, if you know it. We have lived in the last ceuntry under communists and under monarchs, and I know the difference very well. However, in the last 20 years, the center-right political forces managed to increase poverty and to decrease our HDI. Every town or region of this country is ruled by mobs, as a result of the center-right policies. During theese years, a center-left government would be ideal.

You can't just reverse what she did. You can't undo the closing down and demolition of thousands of factories, the closure of coal mines and the poverty that came along with it. Why do you think so many people hate her? Why do you think the Conservatives now sit just on the right side of the fence instead of far right? Cause Conservatives realised that Thatcherism doesn't work! However, New Labour are almost as bad as the Tory cronies! Pick your poison Britons! Good luck to us all!

Well, I can't see why Labour couldn't have reversed Thatcher's policies if it was really that bad. If it is Thatcher's fault then Labour are equally to blame for doing nothing to change her policies in the 13 years they've now been in power.

Don't get me wrong, I think Blair needs a kicking for going along with it all but I can understand the logic behind it...just about.

She is responsible for the economic mess we are in today, she "modernised" Britain and now in times of crisis we have nothing to fall back on. The working class have no factory/manual jobs anymore thanks to globalisation. It is Thatcher's bourgeois attitude that ensured that the working class will always be the first to get shit on in times of economic downturn. This is the worst recession in 100 years, so in reply to your question, yes I would rather be back in the pre-Thatcherism years!
