  • Um.. I've been working on chainsaws for 20 years, and that is not how it's done. You don't have to loosen the the chain adjuster to take the chain off. What I do, and everyone in the know does, is once the sprocket cover is off.. you simply slide the bar back as far toward the clutch as it will go. Then there is enough slack to easily remove the chain.

  • I work at frightworld in buffalo new york, I've done chainsaw for a long time. I know how to fix it if it's flooded, and all that. But im investing in my own for next year and wanted to know how i get the chain off. So is this video right or wrong?

  • hey does any one know if its legal to use a chainsaw with out the chain to scare people at my house? and once i just take the chain off is it safe or should i put something else on it to make it more safe? please respond.

  • well for a start, you shouldnt be using a chainsaw at 12, you can put an 18 inch bar on, but you will need a new chain to fit the bar.

  • when the chain is removed, is it safe? bcuz i want to take of my chain of my chainsaw the scare people at a haunted house
