Come on now sir, you can't deny America's skill in baseball, basketball, hockey, golf, and tennis, all popular worldwide. Or how about the Olympics? Football isn't popular here, that's why our team is terrible. People hate the sport with a passion, mostly American football fans, I don't know why that is or if it has been perceived more positively over the years, but I'd say we don't do half bad for the complete lack of attention the sport garners from most Americans.

American-Football hating American here! (Honestly, I have never understood why we call it football, when 1.) there is already a sport called football and 2.) our travesty of a game RARELY REQUIRES THE USE OF OUR FEET unless you count running back and forth across the field...)

I've been living under a rock I guess, because I haven't been keeping track with the world cup (like everyone else) but this video was helpful! ...and not to mention funny.
