Any decent professional snooker player could play pool to a high standard. There is no way that a pool player could ever compete on a snooker table, a pool player against a snooker player on a snooker table, the pool player would be destroyed. The difference between pool and snooker is vast, pool is like a kids game in comparison to snooker. Snooker is the best game ever but pool is nothing more than a big joke of a game.

@HalloFusilli that is why players like davis and drago and jimmy who are way past their best on a snooker tasble can still compete at the top level in pool. If you put earl on a snooker table with ronnie o'sullivan, ronnie would make him look very very silly indeed...and that is not dissing anyone its just a simple fact.

@HalloFusilli then you havent played it on a proper table...firstly the pockets are only just big enough to take the ball..you cannot steal pockets to make angles like you can on a pool table. the ball is much heavier and played with a much smaller tip so precision is very very important..because the table is so big it makes 1mm mistake make you miss the pot. i have played a lot of cue sports and on all tables 8 ball 9 ball and snooker..and snooker is by far the hardest game out of all of them.

The point is snooker players have beaten pool players in pool tournaments. Try putting a pool player in a snooker tournament, they would get annihilated. Snooker is a far more skilful game so your point is a nonsense. Probably another ignorant American who's played snooker about twice in his entire life. FACT!
