Fuck I love this song...
-
this is the best summary of Homer's The Odyssey that I've ever heard.

@mrfudgeyhead beyond all that, this video is pure reality. Anyone who sticks with it long enough will eventually find out what this is about. This isn't music for kids.

@midjipress Ah, fuck 'em. I know that Epitaph has Nick Cave and Frank Turner and Weakerthans and guys like that and as far as the ones who really love Escape the Fate... that's cool if you do, but I really don't think we have much to talk about.

Then go revel in your aural mediocrity, plebeian, and let us enjoy our art in peace.

My god.... He's a Poet!

Perfect video for this song, although Nick should be wearing a suit.
Isn't that Will Self sitting at the bar?

Blessed be the lounge lizard N. Cave plays so eloquently in this video. I delight in the theatrics, the exotic dancers, and the way it all catapults the contrasting lyrics to my ear. I am so pleased.

My mancrush was Johnny Depp till Nick Cave came into my life.
The people complaining about this not being Epitaph-like probably haven't heard anything Hot Topic hasn't sold them. Most of the bands on Epitaph would list Nick Cave as either a major influence or an example of excellent music. Sorry that this doesn't fit into your store bought and sold punk rock.

I think the problem is. These are Epitaph fans...and thats a label renowned with meathead fans.
I looked at the profiles of the naysayers of Nick Cave and they had most in common.
all of it proof they are idiots
1: Several had nu metal and Krav Maga videos, which means they have the collective taste of me in fifth grade.
2: Many had Metro Station videos. Meaning they have the collective taste of todays fifth grade girls. Who are known to be idiots.
3: Have you seen the shitty music on Epitaph?
