Not a redneck band at all. Hey - they're doing a character study, the character in question being marginalized white folks for whom life allows precious little socially recognizable identity. The sexuality is remarkably egalitarian, as opposed to say, AC/DC's, which comes entirely from the point of view of makin' yer dick happy. When they're not on duty as NP, Blaine and Ruyter,come across as joyful, peaceable and very bright . All of this only makes them even cooler and more rockin'.
