RCMP Car Chase From Moncton to Trans Canada

This chase started in Royal Oaks a up scale neighbourhood in Sunny Brae area of Moncton,
the chase started south on Elmwood drive. . reaching speeds of 80km a hour only one RCMP was following him from Codiac , when he reached the exit going towards Saint John the vehicle went west on Highway 2 . Doing the speed limit and using his directional lights but not stopping, another officer joined the pursuit at Magnetic Hill exit and another RCMP joined at Berrys Mills exit. District 11 RCMP had spike belts set up at Mile Marker 440 as the 3 RCMP cars and the vehicle in pursuit were about 10 kms from the road block, he maintained speeds of 100 to 115km a hour.
He went thru the road block set up and he hit the spike belt taking out 12 spikes in his tires, as he was surrounded by RCMP . The chase all started around 8pm in Sunny Brae and ended almost to Salisbury New Brunswick about a 20 to 30 km drive. Breathalizer was given and he is being held for court. Video was used on CTV news at 6pm sunday.

@tx613 to be more specific they are organized like State police but instead of having county sheriff offices we have one force that polices all the isolated areas, small towns etc.. You could be posted anywhere in the country.
