Amazon Experience, Shaman sings an Icaro for peace.

I began working in the Amazon in 2005 I met this shaman Elisa Vargas Fernandez and fell in love with her powerful healing voice. When i first heard her voice i cried my eyes out and knew that i had a lot of work to do to change the deforestation and destruction of the Rain Forest that was threatening her tribes and humanity's survival.

I returned often over the next few years to work with her in ceremony and to shoot a documentary about healing drug addiction with Ayahuasca, the plant medicine she uses.

I initially shot this film to raise money for a bigger project where i would bring my heroin addicted brother down to see the affects this jungle medicine and Elisa's healing voice would have on him....he overdosed and died months after filming this footage.

I have the rest of the film that includes viable economic options detailed for saving the Amazon...this is what i put together with current resources.
