Welcome to Let's Play Dragon Warrior 2! In this episode, we learn of the events following the last game and an era of peace has been bestowed on the land. However, a new evil force is brewing to (you guessed it) take over the world once again.

Special thanks to 1whoistornapart, Wolfgang Abenteuer, slartifer, and Voltgloss on GameFAQs for helping me with debugging Dragon Warrior 2 in FCEUX to find all the spell resistances. Thanks to x_loto for translating the game script on GameFAQs.

Just so you know, I will not be showing any more grinding onscreen as I did in this episode, beyond demonstrating new enemies. I simply did it here, just this one time, to demonstrate how the process works for people who are interested.

Thanks for watching!

  • I actually love the feeling when you level up and eventually become strong enough to continue. ^_^

I feel a lot like that in the beginning of this game, for example, when you start out as a weakling barely able to leave the castle, then 10-15 minutes later you can easily go to the next castle while also having a few Medical Herbs in stock. =D

  • @animebryan He names the episodes with pop-culture references.

  • Why does the title of the video say Legacy of the Wizard on it?! I was looking for a let's play of that game when this video came up!

  • dragon quest c la meilleur saga toute les autres sont nul

  • @pat4luigi13 Yeah, but grinding in Disgaea is fun and challenging.

  • I don't doubt you that this game has a lot of grinding required, but nothing can compare the grinding required in the Disgaea games.

  • I prefer the Snes opening intro of this game

  • Try Phantasy Star II. It's much more difficult and way less forgiving.

  • hard try valkyrie profile a ending without looking at a guide

  • Do I sense a little.. Wormtail, in his voice?
