Man this was such a beautiful movie. I miss it so much. I miss the beautiful sentiment and the aesthetic emotional bengali culture which was behind these movies and songs. We have lost it all.
Wish somebody could recreate and bring it all back.

Am a fan of Soumitra.. always...., but this scene once again reminds me why my father is always right, why Mahanayak can be the only one -the great Uttam Kumar! The person who never believed in God, removing his shoes before entering his house only realizing his fault after his wife's death.. what an actor, what a movie and what a song!

saying anything about the song, the singer, the actor would be dhrishtota...but I must say that this is very depressing...makes me scared and sad...cuz I fear that one day, either me or my wife will leave the other all alone in this world...all alone...and am sure there'd be regrets...tokhon ki chherey ki mone rakhbo? ki niye thaakbo? life's gonna be so very meaningless...Hence ei gaanta hamesha boro dukkho dyay...
