  • what can you export the song you record into? Does it have to go through a computer software? Also, is there a way to power the R24 without batteries, like into a plug on the wall?

  • @shwinky789 The best way is to do your recording on the R24, then take the SD card out and

load the audio files into your DAW on your computer....it can be any that you have since

these are wav files. You can also just mix the audio directly out the audio outputs to a computer

or some recording device, you just don' t have near the control of your sound and no editing capabilities.

  • @shwinky789 you can export onto the SD card, then transfer the files onto your computer using your DAW software. Reaper is a good alternative multitrack DAW, and I think you can still use it for free. I recommend Cakewalk Sonar, which comes free with the Samson C01U mic. If you would like an online session with me using Join.Me, let me know. I'm going to be offing this service. I'll be able to see your computer, or you mine, so I can help you get going

  • I've read that this thing can also do mackie emulation and basicly be used as a remote controller on for example cubase. Do you know how well this works? Do the play/record buttons work inside cubase (this is important for me since it's much easier to reach)? And the faders aren't moterized are they?

  • @DGMRuadeil It can be used that way but I havent' had any experience with that yet.

  • Boss makes good products..it's made by Roland, and so does Samson

I use the R24 now myself and used to use a Roland 2480CD, which was discontinued . The R24 isn't near the machine the Roland was, but the 2480 cost about $4500 new, and the R24 $500..big difference. The R254 makes a really good interface, has built in recording capabilities, has effects...good way to start using DAWs on the computer. Email me for great deal...

  • Does anyone know If the tuner can be used with the built in mics, or only the hi-z input?

  • Wait, it has a tuner too!? I've already ordered one and still I'm finding out new awesome things about it, This is getting ridiculous, you can stop guys, you already have my money.

Next I think i'll be watching a tutorial on using it and it will say, "And this is where you place the coffee grounds, you fill the water in the back!"

  • @cdig2000 Excuse me sir, the r24 is also an audio interface right? does it eliminate latency(of the vst instruments) when i'm using my midi controller to trigger a vst instrument? please reply asap thank you badly need your advice

  • Is this better than the BOSS products? I already have a BOSS Br-900CD and I'm considering getting this cause I want to start using DAW programs and stuff and this seems to work with most recording programs.
