I seek no knowledge about knives and have no idea what you speak of half the time. However, I came across your timbuk2 video last year and became a fan of yours. I like the calm aspect of your vids and the life you live seems like a whole different realm of mine (a typical college student who lives in the city). It's cool to catch some interesting facts about the utensils that come in handy to you! Keep it up.
Wow, That is crazy customer service. I had no idea. I've seen these knives for years in the Cabelas magazines and store. Maybe I should pick one up as well. Thanks Archman
Archman, are you familiar with Wako's channel?( watch?v=jt9Uk4_D1h8, watch?v=yJM5G9S_ml4 ) He's wacko for Bark River knives ;) I have to admit that I'm pretty green when it comes to knives so it's mostly all news to me but this guy has some pretty interesting info on knives -- convex edges, stropping to sharpen. Do you use hunting knives? (The Nyala is a hunting knife I guess?)
Nice score...I love D2 Steel...if you want a real cool knife made ou of D2 with a scandi grind take a look at the Enzo from Brisa in Finland. I have a review on it if you wanna go see on my channel.
