why would a front engine truck have better handling then a mid engine?

@BearFlight wrong I'm on this team and they do not cost $2.0m to begin with, they are more in the $500,000 - $1M....the low budget teams are operating off of $175,000- $500,000 trucks

I've worked with a couple of current very very low budget Trophy Truck teams and their investment was at a minimum $600,000 per truck. The more competitive teams easily have $1.2M to $2.0M per truck, not counting spare parts (engines, trannys, etc.). Class 1s are about the same in costs as well.

Well, it depends on how competitive you wish to be, but today a truck like that is on average. Engine: (1st) $125,000 to $150,000. Suspension: (including chassis build up) $120,000 to $200,000. Base chassis: (new) $225,000 to $275,000, Body components: (3 sets) $35,000 to $60,000, Safety: $45,000-$55,000. Drivetrain sets (minus engine): RDif $22,000-$30,000, ATrans (1st) $18,000-$20,000. Totals: $700,000 to $1,200,000!
