Ironic, that for all intents & purposes, Raven & Terra are opposing forces--and not just 'cause Beast Boy was canonically involved with both, nor that Slade sought each out--because when you think of it, Terra's the "bad friend" whose betrayal & self-destruction brought the Titans ever closer, whilst Raven fights to the bitter end against the eighth devil known as her father & yet, it is her giving into her dad's influence that nearly brings forth amaggedon, nevermind the end for the Titans.

Blame comics for making her a villian if you must, but either way, the "good" Terra died with the betrayal, although to tell the truth, that version never existed, since even the show had her off her rocker. Whether she was manipulated by Slade or not is irrelevant, since was really nothing more than a shock value plot device meant to betray & die.

@TheMrYummyPie: He showed Terra being evil for the core viewership, for you're not to have a chain-smoking slut (comic-wise, she has sex with 50+ Slade at 14, which even the show contextually references) in a show for families. It's also why we got the cliff notes version of Raven's demonic past, why Brother Blood was changed from a satanic religious zealot to Dr. Drakken obsessed with cybernetics, why comic sex icon Starfire doesn't dress like a stripper with big 80s hair, etc.
