@raiphdude7 the question is always "out of which tuning ?"
-
The strings are completely IN tune. Musicians of this caliber can't play out of tune. their heads would explode. true story
-
it only is out of tune when the old vhs tape is screwed
-
lol 'out of tune'... like these guys don't know exactly what they're doing.
-
@WAMEDJO it is always the same error about shakti . It never had to be "indian" based on the typical rules of hindustani or carnatic music . It was NEW music. Remember that all kinds of "pure" music are nothing but the mixture of yesterday's music. John knows the rules very well, but that wasn't the point.

i had luck to saw them in Belgrade - Zemun, 04.04.1976.
Absloutely the best concert I ever saw
-
In tune to these old ears!

@WAMEDJO bha...
maybe it's just the sound qualituy...
-
I meant tune, not "tone" which would be irrelevant here. But still, it doesn't sound good to me, I think because he doesn't have all the rules Indian musicians have when choosing the notes they play. But I may be an idiot, like we all are without a doubt if we're sure we're not.

@WAMEDJO you sir, are an idiot
The sympathetic strings are not out of tune, your ears are
