Same goes for the "regular" radar guns online. Find a cop and maybe then you can verify it ;)

@obedmusicians No it doesn't work. This company is a scam. I would recommend the Escort Redline, is an amazing product, expensive though but it has saved me so many times. Do your research and then invest your money wisely. Also take a look to the many press investigations of rocky mountain, the are exposed as a scam. They even tested the product with police officers.

I have had my C450 now for 6 years. Thats right six years and the device has a twist to it...My unit will let me do 15mph over the speed limit and give me time to adjust....I dont suggest anyone doing what I do. When I ordered my unit I talked with a rep and he can share what I know and have maybe learned. If you understand this UNIT it STOPS K ....Ckeck with me this is one of my vidoes...

For you who dont believe heres my story. I was traveling to California from Utah on I-80 running a rmr unit & a bear kat scannner to listen to the hyway patrol . 2am i was all alone when the rmr unit went off 4 separate times before the patrol car finally coming at me I'd say 1 1/2 miles out passed by me . He said over the bear kat scanner . Unit # you have a pickup heading your way see if you can get a reading . He answered Im on the side with a 4 wheeler cant do it . 4 miles ahead I saw him

I can't believe that it doesn't pick up anything until you're almost on top of it, and then quits right after you pass it. My Valentine 1 would have been squawking way ahead of that that and way past. I live near a school with a fixed speed detector sign like that, my V1 picks it up over 2 miles away.

Rocky Mountain Radars are crap, they do not scramble and they recommend you mount the unit below the rear view mirror which distracts your vision of the road. My DLS315 did not scramble and I ended up with a speeding ticket but I do admit I mounted my unit 6 inches up from the bottom of the windscreen.

You can NOT test this on box that you see on the side of the road that shows how fast your going because the speed box does not follow those same rules 7 times back and forth like the guns the cops use.
