@s5saweig I think that after he plays the lydian dominant he's using the symmetrical scale and by that he means the tone-whole tone scale (whole tone-tone).
Such an insightful musician, the man's music speaks so true for us students of the guitar, I've been playing for 28 years and i always leanr something when i listen to Joe speak or play.
