People should dress up to go to church, not to impress others on what they look like, but to show respect to God, you are there to worship, give Him praise! Church isn't just a gathering of Christians?? You should at least take time to dress up nicely when being presented in Gods presence. Yes God is always in presence but when u go to church you are, or should, be there solely for God! Show some respect when in his presence. I myself have witnessed what the dream center does. I lived there, attended all 3 services almost every week. What they teach is putting love of man over the 1st commandment. This is not what God desires. Read His Word !! Seek Him with ALL your heart!!!

By 'we' I mean any follower of Yeshua (christian). God uses the gifts of the Spirit through us to build His Church. The Spirit can work through any person in a powerfull way. I respect your conservative opinion, but what if God WANTS to work with His Spirit like he did in the days of Paul? Why work against that?

Of course according to whom? You doing that is fine for yourself, and I assume by "we" you mean your Bible study group. I respect that.

I'm quite dazzled by your use of 'hermeneutics' and 'exegesis' in the adjectival form. That alone gives your statement credence.

Of course we need to do exegetical research on scripture. But also we need to hermeneutics, imply scripture today. The meaning of this scripture can be implied the same as today. The effect of the Spirit didnt change. Lets get drunk in the Spirit!!
