Koryo, by WTF standards, is your 1st Dan Black Belt form. You learn it to earn your 1st Dan. Some schools do do it differently, but if you want Kukkiwon certification of your 1st Dan, Koryo is the form you will be tested on.

@gameking438 Koryo is first dan for some TKD while kumgang is 2nd but traditionally, koryo was considered the first black belt form to be learned onced you had already received your 1st dan. I too had to learn koryo for my first dan but it doesn't go for all TKD federations.

I've seen this video before, and I still can't tell if the snapping of his pant legs and his sleeves are dubbed in or not. I mean seriously, I know people who can do that, but that noise sounds very... strange.
