John Bedrosian gives a (slow) demonstration of St. Louis Shag. To distinguish shag from Charleston pay particular attention to the triple-steps in the basic. Also watch for the distinctive Shag breakaway, and the insertion of half-breaks into John's dancing.
@iamloved Thanks - I did finally get in touch with John. You're right a great guy, super helpful and a great chap all round. I can see why you folks in St. Louis love him so much. A true Swing-King!

@andyclark556 You should totally contact him, I bet he would love it. He's such a doll, I absolutely love him. And he's such a phenomenal dancer as well, never stops moving and knows everything there is to know about swing dancing.

i've talked to john about these videos and he told me that because he was dancing with people new to the dance, he wasn't dancing to hard. i'm glad these videos are up, because there is nothing else for St. Louis Shag, but keep in mind that they don't fully represent this dance or John's capabilities.
