IOC probes China censorship claims

Jul 29 - The International Olympic Committee (IOC) is looking into reports of internet censorship for journalists covering the Olympics.

As the Olympic Games approach, there are still limits to the amount of internet access granted to reporters.

China's foreign ministry says some websites will remain blocked.

1. Thats because China simply need to study how the US did it, where as US had to do it themselves.

2. Yes, the American Weapons are more advanced, the Type 95 is new, yes, but it is on par with the M16. Both have similar accuracies and ranges. But M16 isn't even close to the newest weapon used by the US. It is old. and will be replaced soon by many of the more advanced models, such as the M468.

Name me one significant modern invention china contributed. China invented gun powder but lacked the insight on how to use it effectively until the europeans used it to make a handgun. if the Chinese were ahead of the Europeans during the 1700s, why did they loose so bad?

Their military power were armed with out of date weapons, where as the Europeans had superior weaponry, true guns were brought from China to Europe, but Europeans perfected the guns, where as China, being too proud of itself, didn't bother developing new technologies.
