While wine enthusiasts will have to wait until July to know the results of the Cabernet tasting, they give the inside scoop - with Peter Simic, Winestate Editor - on a few who have gained gold stars including the 2004 Reschke Empyrean Cabernet Sauvignon.
With many wineries cutting corners to supply cheaper drops to the big chain supermarkets, there is a large disparity between good quality and lesser quality Cabernet Sauvignon.
