Learn how to splice Pokemon or even any other sprites together. This simple to follow tutorial will get you splicing well in no time. I credit Nintendo and Spriter Resource for the sprites used.

Hey. I have a problem. On my computer, I am currently using Paint 3.35, which means I can't copy-paste selected images between canvases. Advice?

I don't know what one is 3.35, but I find it pretty odd to think you can't copy from one file to the other. The best I can think to do there though is to have all your sprites on one sheet like me, then just delete whichever Pokemon you are NOT using, then shrinking the canvas and "Save As". It's really backwards and a waste of time, but I don't know of another way if you can't copy from another program.

To copy and past a picture in paint you can also just press ctrl+c/v
And by the way, there is a problem with the sprite sheet from the Spriters Resource because if you erase all the black the black outlines of every pokemon will be withe, too. Just look at Pichu's tail if you do that.

Thing is I don't recall that problem. The sheet I got didn't have that problem since the person who made it was smart and made the black borders different than the pure black the background becomes. In fact I went and tested it right now, and there was no problem with the D/P first frame sheet.
