  • I was only 10 or 11 years old when this song became very popular. Since then, I never forget it. Thanks for bringing back the pleasant memories of my childhood.

  • @eagleaerie5 You're very welcome!

  • I discovered this gem of song in 2003, I do not know why I had not heard it before. But in 2003 i purchased a multi artist double CD and this song by the great tony Bennet was on it and I must say I have played it at least twice a week since then. It is so simplistic yet so romantic and so well sung. excellent upload and thanks.

  • @lateforbreakfast You're welcome! It's amazing that this song isn't more well-known since it was almost a Top 10 hit and it's Tony!

  • thanks for posting i love this song very much it reminds me my childhood days in the 50's

  • I heard this song in the 1950s and have always loved it. Thank you.

  • I saw Tony Bennet live at the NY State Fair in Syracuse, NY. Two things were not right.

    (1) I was a good distance from the stage. Too many fans had camped out early nearer.

    (2) He never sang this song, but he did sing scores of others.

  • I sometimes hum this even now. Thankfully it's a Columbia disk. Other brands of shellac records do break without reason !

  • this is the favorite of mom... i always remember her with this song.... i cry when i hear this song because of my mom...

  • Really superb. We used to hum along in the RAF - mostly when we shouldn't have! But we believed in marriage and such things.
