@movinon5 because even though I am not riding at the Olympics I know very well what is healthy for a horse and her "training method" rollkur is extremly unhealthy. it is cruel and causes much pain for the horse, which can't see anything and can't breathe in the position of rollkur. you don't need to be an Olympic Rider to know that.

And if anyone believes Rollkur isn't bad for a horse, he should tie his chin to his breast and hold that position for 15 minutes. Rollkur is violence nothing else!

Yeah, she abuses her horse into doing what she commands them to, and hardly anyone knows the awful truth behind the shiny "perfect" dressage-fasade.

@TheMelpher exactly. classical dressage is all about acceptance of the hand. rollkur is the horse over-flexing in order to evade the hand. ridiculous.

@adadadu59 she uses rollkur as a training method, obviously she doesn't ride in the olympics with it. it's a training method to get them to over-break at the poll, then when shows come the rider doesn't have to ask as harshly to keep their head and neck in the correct position. it completely goes against all theory behind classical dressage - the horse is FORCED into hyperflexion, rather than him accepting the bit and using his muscles properly.

@adadadu59 let me give you a hint: think whether you have the knowledge to comment on sth before you do it. cause there is no "germanic dressage" existing at all.and what you can see in this video is rollkur,also knows as hyperflexion. and she is allowed to ride at the olympics cause there she doesn't ride in hyperflexion but she does at home when she trains her horse and poorly that is not forbidden!

so please get me right: I think she could be a good rider but not as long as she uses rollkur.

@horsegirl2812 There's no rollkur in this video, just germanic dressage. And if she uses rollkur she couldn't ride at the olympics (now excuse my english 'cause i'm not good ... --')

Du hast echt recht! Wie bescheuert kann man sein???? Aber die leute wollen ja allle dieses rumgestrampel sehen, wie es dem Pferd dabei geht ist ihnen scheiß egal :( Mit denen die so reiten und bei so was klatschen müsste man echt das selbe machen, was die ihren pferden antun!

@horsegirl2812 So könnte man das natürlich auch definieren. Tragisch. Rollkur ist ja auch gleichgestellt der Misshandlung, also ist die Vergewaltigung wäre gar nicht mal so weit entfernt. Ich versteh halt echt nicht wie man so etwas als normal oder sogar im Training als notwenig sehen kann. Jeder Tierarzt kann bestätigen wie schlecht die Hyperflexion für die Gesundheit des Pferdes ist. Aber wenn man den Tierärzten nicht glauben will, dann ist einem die Gesundheit des eigenen Pferdes ja eh egal.
