ABOUT THE RESTAURANT:

Kampung daun is located at Lembang valley, Bandung. Bandung itself is a small city surrounded by mountains, so kampung daun is a cold place (cold for Indonesians). At night, its temperature can be around 15-18 Degrees C. Once you entered the area, you will feel like you're in a real traditional restaurant. The restaurant is surrounded by nature and trees, and there is a natural waterfall. Even the toilet walls are carved by hand into a beautiful piece of art. There, you won't be sitting on a chair, but you will sit on a soft carpet or cushion on the floor to give an exact aura of Indonesia's traditional restaurant (It's called lesehan in Indonesian). In English, Kampung Daun is Leaf Village, because of the greenery you will get there, you won't smell a smoke of pollution because it's far away from the city, the elevation is more than 1500m above sea level, it's about 160 km away from the city of Jakarta, and it's about 15 km away from the heart of the city.

ABOUT THE FOODS:

Kampung daun has got a lot of foods including Indonesian traditional foods like: nasi goreng (fried rice), nasi bakar (burned rice), tutug oncom, and so many more Indonesian foods. There are even western foods such as European and American foods. About the drink, don't worry, for foreign tourists who like to drink wine or beer, Kampung Daun has it, and you can also choose Indonesian traditional drinks. For the portion and the price, it's balanced. Even though it's quite expensive, but the portion and the taste of the foods will make you forget about that.

  • Wanna ask u bout kg,daun...Is there any place where the visitors can picnic?and can we swim in the waterfall?n 1more thing, I am from jatinangor. So, it takes how many hours to reach there?

  • @fhaisol First of all, thank you for watching. There is are no picnic or swimming site there, but I can assure you that the fresh air and the beauty of the environment is amazing. I don't quite know places so I don't exactly know where Jatinangor is and I'm in Jakarta, but I believe it's around Bandung. From the center of Bandung, it will take about 30-40 minutes to reach there if the road is empty. If the road is dense then it's around 40 minutes or more. I guess it'll take you 45-50 mins.

  • LOL... I'm YOur 30th ppl who watch this video

  • @AkEmArU1 Hehe, thanks for watching! But this video isn't popular yet.

  • I'm so sorry about shaky hands. I'm in a hurry of filming this since it was getting late and I got to go back to Jakarta and don't want to hit traffic jam.

    Thank you for your understanding...
