Agree with the last comment that this is a TOTALLY different recording of my favourite track off the album. Where`s it from? And Muff1804 - I`m jealous. Used to see them every time in Folkestone way back in the 70`s and the ENERGY of the music was beyond belief. Wish I had some live stuff to try to recapture those days. Great upload!
Johnny O'Bradislee was my favourite track from all their albums.
I remember them belting it out at Motherwell Civic Centre about 40 years ago.
I converted the album to CD some years ago and still listen to it quite often.
Great tune and a great story.
Johnny O'Bradislee has a haunting quality about it and you can just imagine the King's men chasing the poacher through the woods and finally catching up with him.
Thanks for this. I remember many nights living in the far north of Scotland listening to this album with some English friends of mine. Still sounds great!
Brilliant. My big Cousin was in the band. I have never heard their recorded material before - however I did experience them live recently at a private family party around 4 years ago and they were awesome and can still cut it
