...Yeah, what third? The boring one. The only thing they really skipped over was the airport and boat scenes where they talked FOREVER. The anime is meant as a supplement to the VN as well as an advertisement for it. They've kept in most of the important stuff.

Most recent episode skipped over a lot of Rosa's abuse of Maria, but kept the important bits in...such as letting her stand out there in the rain.

In case you didn't get my point, the character development in the first novel was terrible. It was poorly executed exposition for a large part of it, at least until they arrived to the island. Don't insult my intelligence. I've read every VN up to this point, and most people will say that EP1's opening was by far the weakest. In terms of content, EP4 might have been the weakest because of the Ange overload. It was useful, but needed trimming.

@shungwugga It's called "character development", and that's one of the things that make the novel great. Because you have attention problems doesn't mean it's boring.
