Luigi's Mansion Glitch - Floor 1.5

I found an amazing glitch while speed running this game and charging toward the chest I guess and I found this. If anyone expands on this, post a video response.

@mugg1991 Thanks for all the explaining mugg. And yeah, from my investigation, there is no large chunk of the game you can skip with this. This game just has way to much of a set path to follow. There may only be a little bit of time that can be saved with this so far, but nothing substantial... I'm sad aswell. I had don e the same thing at the balcony.

@lunjesse I wish. Doesn't look like it though. I've looked quite a bit and this is the only chest that spawns against a wall.

I think I'll experiment with this, this looks great. Its about time glitches are found in this game.

I don't suppose it's possible to go into Lydia's room and land past the door? Also if there is a way to conduct this glitch twice, it may be possible to grab the fire element and then proceed back into the kitchen...

What about the fridge (or maybe other objects) that you can land into. Can those push you out of bounds again?

@mugg1991 Drat. You're right. I tried it out. The closest I could even get to Bogmire was when I navigated to Toads balcony. Unfortunately, there's no way to actually get off. I'm sad now...

You can't reach many places after going out of bounds. Basicly, you are on 2F (floor 2) while 1F is active. It's impossible to reach the training room, and King Boo's room.

You can enter the kitchen or the Laundry or some places, but you will be stuck since you don't have the keys that lead into these rooms. You can enter area 2 early and proceed as normal, but you will have to go back to the lab after releasing the Boos so there's no way around getting the first big key.

@mugg1991 Really? I mean, you could at least get the water medalion early. Actually, you could beat Bogmire before getting the Baby Key. Pretty useful there. My theory was you copuld walk over to the Muscle Man whose name I forget, and get the shortcut key from the treadmill. I also doubt it, but maaaaaaybe you could find a way to King Boo's room either from clipping into the well or heading to the basement, though the basements on a different floor...

You spawn in the same place. Just walk diagonally up to the chest like in the video. The position yourself so that Luigi faces to the side (left or right) and then press A to check the wall, while holding "up" and you will go out of bounds.

I already investigated on emulator, and I didn't find anything useful.
