Further examples of running via E-UAE 0.8.29-WIP4, using Yellow Dog Linux (YDL) 6.1 on the Sony PS3.
This time on HDTV, with 576i resolution. Full-screen is there, filling up perfectly. The TV's zoom function helping out with filling the screen on some weird Amiga screen modes.
Games are being run using a shared 'Boot' HD folder, which looks at the contents of DH1 and then runs either a script, or loads a WHDload slave from there.
By being WHDload registered and setting SPLASHDELAY=0 we can get straight into the game with only the preload time to wait. NOWRITECACHE is enabled for instant saving of scores, games etc, allowing us to safely quit the emulator at any time. The main WHDload.prefs are also used to set the QUITKEY to numpad * which is assigned to the SELECT button in the UAE config.
Each game has its own config ( .uaerc ) in a folder to allow customised tweeks / controls for each if required, although at the moment, most are simply set the the Amiga CD32 pad layout. Currently, all that has to be changed is the folder-position for DH1 to point to the game's data & WHD slave. The PS button is assigned for quiting the emulator and returning to Linux.
Each game has it's UAE config run from a script for launching. Nothing clever there, it just selects the game directory and runs UAE.
Games shown are:
Alien Breed - Tower Assault
International Karate
New Zealand Story
Lotus 2
... expect more to follow!
you can also play them on psx! :)

@sadamhusein3000
the PS1 hasnt the processor power to do fullspeed amiga emulation.
There was an amiga emulator (UAE) for the PS2, but that was also underpowered.

i have used winuae before. it had an option to increase the speed of the dick drive access so it isn't necessary to wait long periods like you suggested. i dont know if your version of uae lacks features

both winuae and e-uae have this feature. However, it isnt 100% compatible, due to the sensitive way some track loaders or copy protections work.
HD loading is still considerably faster and more reliable than ADF/IPF loading.
